Box office manager


Our Box Office Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing our performance operations and Front of House responsibilities. Your primary responsibilities include managing ticket sales, overseeing concessions, and managing volunteers. With a strong focus on customer service, you'll establish efficient systems for processing ticket orders, be proficient with Square and Freshtix, and ensure accurate funds count post-performance. You'll collaborate closely with the Artistic Director to elevate the lobby experience for performances and participate in our marketing and staff planning sessions.

Commitment: 2-3 Hours/Week & 5 Hours/Week during events (1 to 2 events per year)


Fundraising specialist

We’re seeking a dedicated Fundraising Specialist to join our team, responsible for creating and implementing fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. This role involves coordinating fundraising events, writing grant proposals, donor outreach and developing donor materials. The specialist will also manage a donor database, ensuring accurate record-keeping and confidentiality. This position requires superb communication and organizational skills, and a passion for the Arts and benefiting charitable causes.

Commitment: 2-3 Hours/Week

OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be the backbone of our daily activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will oversee day-to-day operations of Act for a Change, ensuring all activities align with our mission and goals, collaborate with our team to enhance productivity, and delegate administrative tasks to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Must have impeccable communication and organizational skills, and be proficient with Slack and Asana for project management.

Commitment: 2-3 Hours/Week

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

We’re on the hunt for a creative Social Media Specialist to bring our digital presence to life. This specialist will create compelling content for our social media channels (IG, Meta, LinkedIn), including writing/scheduling posts and designing graphics, monitor and manage our social media accounts, work closely with the Marketing Manager to align social media activities with overall marketing goals, and stay updated with the latest social media trends and tools.
